My girl loves hers! She potters on washing and drying while I make tea etc ... buys me some time while she's distracted and she loves to ser what I'm doing and get involved x
Absolutely worth it for us. She was going through a phase of constantly wanting to be picked up while one of us was cooking in the kitchen and it allows her to stand up there and see what we're doing, with my hands free so I can actually work. Sometimes she snacks up there.
They look great but from another perspective if you want to consider the kind of child you have. I said no to having one for my step son because all of the above is true and he'd absolutely love it. However, we would also use it to reach the top cupboard where the scissors are now kept because he kept cutting his hair.. Same would go for every other thing that we have kept out of reach for his own good. Even if we got a folding one he would figure it out. Wait for a moment when I'm BF so not watching him like a hawk and chaos would descend. We settled for a plastic step from IKEA so he can stand and help make his own sandwich and stuff which he enjoys doing but even if he stands on it, he's not tall enough to reach anything he shouldn't đ
I really wanted one but couldn't justify the price of them. So we use a step up stool we already had and it works great for us!

We got one for my daughter just after she turned 2 and really like it, she loves helping to cook tea and to âsee whatâs going onâ. We got one of the plasticky folding ones from amazon as we donât have much space, although it gets used so much we just end up leaving it up and clambering passed it.
