What’s the difference??

Private nursery as school nursery hours are way to short to allow me to work. School nurseries tend to operate school opening hours. My private nursery is open 7.30am - 6.30pm.

Both. Our private nursery does wraparound so I take her in the morning to private nursery, they then drop her off for 2.5 hrs then I pick her up from there. My choice not to do any more hrs.

From September my son will split his time doing private /school 2/2days each. Only possible because I’ll be on mat leave to get him at school hours (the school preschool doesn’t offer wrap around)

What’s the benefits of splitting them? My girl has always been in private. Didn’t know it was a thing to split them!

I really want to keep our son at the nursery he's at now. I was chatting to their admin earlier and she was giving me the options. I see the benefit of going to the school nursery but what if he doesn't get into the same school for reception? Double the disruption 😩 Also I really love our current nursery, they are so good with him.
