Would you be comfortable bringing your newborn to a Mother's Day lunch if you knew someone in the group has a sore throat?

My husband's 7 year old sister has a sore throat and I'm worried about going out to lunch with her. My husband thinks it would be fine if she stays away from the baby and sits at the other end of the table. Even if she did stay away (I'm not convinced she would as she's very excited to see him) it still worries me.

I wouldn't be personally, I'm not even letting my 2 year old with a sore throat near my newborn 😂x

Personally I wouldn't because you don't know what caused it and if anybody else in the immediate family circle has the same issue just not showing symptoms but is entirely your choice

I wouldn't. We visited family at the weekend and I made sure everyone was well before hand
