Nursery
Hello, I’m working part time and my baby goes to nursery 3 days a week from 8am to 12:30pm. I’m thinking on going back to full time because we need it financially but just thinking on my baby going to nursery 5 days a week until 5:30pm makes me feel so bad, sad and guilty. He will be more time at nursery than at home. Is anyone back at work full time? How are your babies doing?

Takes a while settling in and happy to see me when I arrive. But he also has fun and is exploring with other kids.
I'm doing 3 days a week currently and moving up to 4 days from next month, partly due to finances but also because I'm enjoying my job and sometimes finding it easier than having my little one all day (as awful as that sounds). The first 2 months in nursery she struggled a bit but now seems to be thriving there, has a pretty good routine, loves the staff etc. It makes me feel so much better about my decision as I had such guilt about it

I'm not quite back full time but my LO is in nursery 4 days a week. I felt so guilty to begin with but she absolutely loves it, I also find I cherish my time with her more and we make the most of the time we have together
