You are fine taking them away having days off etc . But just so you are aware they still expect payment for the days u don’t go

Yes, tbf you don’t even need to give them a reason. I can just ring in and say so and so won’t be in today

Yeah they don’t really need to go think it’s 5 when they have to start going 5 days so you can just tell them that they won’t be attending that day you don’t need to explain yourself
No of course not, compulsory schooling starts at 5 years. However Nurseries have to share your child’s attendance with the county as it’s government money and they want to know how it’s being spent however you can take holidays and days off etc. if the attendance is really bad then they may question your child’s place and the funding being provided. It’s best the let the nursery about any absence as part of their safeguarding policy - they just want to know your child is safe but basically you are free to take days off, family time is important
