Tonbridge childminders
Hi, please can anyone recommend any childminders near Tonbridge station? We are hoping to move to the area around June, and would appreciate some recommendations as the nurseries all have waiting lists so we are struggling to secure something (no family nearby). Thanks in advance! Much appreciated

Thank you! Very helpful!! Yes it's crazy isn't it! I thought the waiting lists were a London only thing! I also thought they would always be childminders as a back end 🤦♀️ Hopefully we'll be able to sort something 🤞

Hi Chloe, I was in this situation back in October 2022 with my two children at that time. I was on a waiting list at 2-3 nurseries in Tonbridge and then I tried child-minders only to find they were all fully booked. You might get lucky though. Sorry I’m just trying to explain it is massively in demand and there is short supply. The email I used to contact local Tonbridge childminders was through this webpage: https://www.tonbridgechildminders.co.uk/contact-us. The person I emailed through there was Clarey Drew who then shared it with the rest of the network of childminders. In the end we had to go with a nursery in Tunbridge Wells (Monkey Puzzle, St John’s Rd) as it was en route for husband work. We did eventually get to the top of the waiting list at 2 of the 3 Tonbridge nursery’s but they could not offer all the days we needed and/or could only offer a space to one of our children and not the other.
