How to announce pregnancy after a loss?

I am pregnant again after losing my first baby last year at nearly 24 weeks. My husband has a really close knit big family and wants to announce it at 16 weeks which is around the time we announced our first pregnancy too. All of his famous knows what happens and I just feel like it will make things awkward a ruin some of the joy when announcing the news. I’d almost rather wait for as long as possible. Any advice on a good way to announce the news? Has it been awkward to announce for anyone else?
