He’s dairy free so it’s Alpro plain Greek yoghurt
I cooked a few recipes (rice, pasta, hummus etc.) from Moon & Rue/Joe Wicks’ weaning books and just defrost a portion in the fridge the night before x
I have given my daughter broccoli pasta yesterday (she’s dairy free also) Also carrot and broccoli wheels or sausage and mash. I’m also struggling with lunch
He hates mashed potato! I’ve made it in lots of ways and he refuses haha, starting to think he doesn’t fit in here 🤪
We do egg based lunches or whatever I’ve made for my toddler just modified. Like yesterday was a wrap, ham & cheese
I have made broccoli and carrot tots (which she loves) a few times, sometimes a little bit of baked salmon, sometimes plain omelette, serve with coconut yoghurt and some fruit. I am moving more towards giving lunch over dinner (though still offer food for dinner) as doesn't tend to want to eat so much later on
I add veggies to my mash because she’s not keen on it either. Also dairy free here and I make quite a lot of pastry stuff for her for lunch as I don’t tend to eat and I’ll just make it up and freeze it then cook it and omelette she loves
Blueberry pancakes are a winner here, I make a batch for the freezer and defrost one when I need to!
Peanut butter on toast and cucumber sticks are also popular for us 😋
Can he have egg? Mine usually has a fishcake or a fritter of some sort with some veg. I batch cooked loads and stocked the freezer cause I really struggle with lunches!
What yoghurt do you give? X
