Food rejection

I am so stressed out about my LO's diet. For several weeks now, she has rejected all the foods she used to enjoy. She lives off toast, yoghurt, plain pasta and raspberries. Meals I used to be able to sneak veg into like spaghetti Bolognese, cottage pie, hidden veg pasta sauces, she will not touch. I can't remember the last time she ate a vegetable. She eats raspberries but no other fruit except sometimes she'll banana mashed into yoghurt (but this is often rejected too). She used to eat everything and I'm at a loss what to do. I take out homemade snacks and she won't eat any of it, so I always end up resorting to going to a café for toast. She's so hungry by dinner time that she's hysterical but still won't eat anything. Last night she just had milk. I'm considering going back on formula just so I know she's getting some kind of nutrients. I'm desperate for some snack and lunch ideas I can try with her in a bid to find something she will eat that is nutritious.

Will she take the fruit smoothie type things from pouches? They have veg versions too? You could try those if you’re super worried. My daughter has never been a great eater. She loved starting blw but now isn’t really very interested in food. She’s EBF so I’m not worried about her nutrient intake but I can understand your worries.

My boy has just been through this, about 4 weeks of very fussy eating which is common around the one year mark according to Huckleberry app. He also has been ill and just had a week of antibiotics for suspected ear infection. I'm so pleased to say now he is back to his old self scoffing everything! I'm not one to run to the doctor usually, but I think if they're not eating or drinking well it's worth a checkup

We went through a similar phase that lasted 4-6 weeks 😭 he’s back to normal now but I started to do daily homemade smoothies and soups etc to up fruit and veg intake. With the soups I’d add lentils and chicken to get more protein in. Fingers crossed it doesn’t last too long!
