My son has just caught HFM this week, we’ve been giving calpol regularly and he’s been having soft/bland foods and lots of water which seems to be helping 🤞🏽 they can go back to nursery once they are feeling well in themselves and don’t have any kind of temperature (this was the advice from my sons nursery) I did have a telephone consultation with a pharmacist as my GP referred us to them and she said to keep baby at home for first 5 days as this is when they are most contagious x

Oat baths! It soothed my skin loads when I caught it off my eldest. My Jan baby is yet to have it 🫣

we were told she could still go to nursery when she had it last week so she did, only missed one day at the peak of it x

thank you all. i will see how he is in himself tomorrow and how the spots are. at the moment theres just 1 on his chin and then a couple ulcers on his tongue

really hope i dont get it, i've been ill the whole of march with various things, as well as my boy, we need a break from it and i also can't afford anymore time off work 😭😭
