Multivitamin

What multivitamins are you giving your toddlers? Most i see advertised are subscription-based or specifically for protein (which is the one thing my son gets plenty of lol)

I know the US is known for certain things like Supplements and Antibiotics etc. I'm just curious. Does your little one have any deficiencies? Like Vitamin D or iron? Is he/she a picky eater or do you just want to start with multivitamins? My kids are super eaters. They love veggies and fruits and eat a lot of them every day. They're not low on iron etc. The doctor is happy, I'm too. So I never gave them anything yet. If you start with vitamins, I would recommend whole food vitamins. No synthetic ones. The body absorbs it better. And make sure that the percentage is not too high. Some vitamins have super high amounts, like 683% of vitamin C. Nobody needs that much and the body (kidney/liver) will have to work harder to flush it out. I heard Mary Ruth is a good brand.

My son eats plenty of protein and occasionally goes on a fruit kick but we can rarely get him to eat anything else - won't touch breads, pastas, cheese, most veggies. Also allergic to a few types of fish. We have his 3 year check-up in a couple weeks so I'll be talking to his dr about it as well but I just feel like he isn't getting enough balanced nutrition and was considering some sort of supplement while we continue to work on his eating preferences and habits
