How long after baby did you get your spark back?

Despite the weather getting warmer and the sun being out more, it smacked me like a ton of bricks this week- You’re career could’ve been better You should make more friends All you wear is different levels of pajamas and athleisure Clean, cook, admin, meltdowns (mine or baby’s 😅) repeat I know logically it’s not that bad but I feel so-un cute, not put together, not professional just mid existing.

I think my spark might just look different now ? Or maybe I’m still waiting ,Anyone else ?

After 4 months I at least felt like a person again and started leaving the house. Now at 18 months I make sure to have a girls night 2x month, date night 1x month, and playdates once a week so I don’t feel trapped at home.

I'm finally starting to get it back and it's been 15 months. I found that the first year it came and went, sometimes in long spurts and sometimes just for a day or two, but usually when I had someone to help out (my fiance is gone a lot for work). This week is I think the first week i feel like I have a real handle on her, my life, my appearance, our apartment, and food and activities, while its just her and I. I still can't wait for my fiance to get back tho! I mean partially to see him, but tbh also because it's so much easier with another person 😅 but like I actually played my guitar today, vacuumed, kept up with dishes, finished laundry, kept her toys somewhat contained, and took her on a long walk and down to the pool (its 89°F out), cooked her breakfast and made her lunch, and it's only 3pm! Oh and I read 3 chapters of a book!
