Guidance is no whole nuts under 5. Also same with popcorn and marshmallows. Ground, chopped small etc you can do younger.

The first time my baby had nuts not in peanut butter was a tiny bit of the chocolate outside of ferrero rocher as the nuts inside are so small

If you want to give your child nuts, just make sure you are chopping them so they aren’t a choking hazard. My son really likes pistachios, so I just chop them up for him really fine so that he can enjoy them!

We give peanuts now at 3.5, however we always make sure they’re small ones and only give them in halves

Depends on the nut - my 2.5 year old eats cashews on her own but it’s a soft nut. I haven’t given her harder nuts

Chop them up not an issue

My LO has had nuts in foods like chocolate spread and other bits, however we do not have any hole nuts or anything in the house other than hazelnut as I am extremely allergic to peanuts and walnuts(which started at age 21)

My daughter loves peanut butter with chunks so sometimes i give her smashed up peanuts to eat. She is 16 months now and she does amazing! Obviously only when im with her to keep an eye out but no whole nuts yet

1 year old (but they weren't whole nuts)

My son (2) will sneak into my trail mix when I’m not keeping a close enough eye on it & LOVES granola bars with chocolate & peanuts.

My daughter had her first at 10 months

My daughter has been having peanut and almond butter since she was 1. She’s also tried bits of food like fruit and nut bars.

2 in a bar and she had an allergic reaction 🙃

Peanut butter from 6 months old but she started liking walnuts and peanuts from around 2 years old but we would chop them up for her.

As from 6 months old but we had to adapt according their age. (Not whole)
