Oh I know. It drives me mad and they all tell you to go online and there’s hardly anything in stock there either. A staff member in Matalan said there was loads on the website and I told her there’s basically nothing as it’s all sold out. I did find a single rack in H&M, but it was a teeny selection and there was one of anything they did have so if it didn’t fit that was that. I bought most of mine pre loved from eBay, but there are things you can’t do that with like tights, pyjamas etc.
Yes!! Before i went away to visit my sister i really thought asda/sainsburys/tesco would have maternity jeans/trousers in but NOTHING. Only thing i could find was maternity knickers 🙄
H&M have a small section but their delivery and returns are free. Annoying with the hassle but at least gives some option :) I got their before and after jeans which length wise are great, they are just still a little big for me so having to put them on the tightest inner band for them to stay up 🙈 I also got some seraphine jeans from Vinted no return option there but a fraction of the price at £10
Yep this annoyed me also. I ended up having to guess that a couple of Next jeans would fit and ordered online. Thankfully they did fit but it is touch and go if things fit or not.
New look have a small section but I only ever see it in their “bigger” stores
I was lucky enough to get a load of mat leggings from Asda on the sale rale (apparently they're not selling mat clothes in store now..) and on top I just wear dresses. It works but I have had to get a couple of looser dresses
Agreed! I got a lot of mine on vinted, and just resold what didn't fit me right
Thank you all so much, I'm glad it's not just me!!! I'm heading into town now and hoping I might get something in New Look or H&M, otherwise I'll be going to work in the buff soon🙈x
I’ve searched everywhere, so frustrating the only shop you can go in for maternity clothes seems to be H&M and the section in the shop isn’t huge and it’s expensive in comparison to “regular” clothing. They do have some nice bits though xxx
I hear you. I’ve found ASOS to be good and returns are super easy.
Oh it's so annoying. Suddenly when nothing fit I was like I need leggings now! Not in a few days!!
This is driving me CRAZY! We’ve looked everywhere and I’ve given up and ordered from New Look and H&M online: it has meant I’ve ordered some stuff I’ve wasted money on as I was so tired I forgot get it shipped back >.>
The only place I could find near me with clothes in store was Primark. Luckily of the 2 styles of maternity jeans they had in, 1 were comfortable. It’s mad there’s not more in stores.
I completely agree! Really frustrates me, I am always having to return things when I order online😭 if you’re after some comfy leggings I really recommend these from Amazon!https://amzn.eu/d/99pZBpj

This drives me insane!! It’s the time of our lives when our bodies are changing so much and so fast, when we REALLY need to be able try things on for size / style and there is just NOTHING anywhere!! I wouldn’t mind if delivery/returns were free everywhere but they are not so we end up spending a fortune on that with nothing to even show for it! Not to mention having to be able to afford to order loads in the first place (often in multiple sizes for choice to save on said delivery fees/time!) and wait for the money back before you can try something else! Arghhh this triggers me 😂😂
Don’t get me started! And when you do find any…my god they’re boring! I’ve resulted in just buying bigger sizes in normal clothes. Drives me nuts!
@Becca I did that with pyjamas after my sister said she just ended up stretching what she already had…
Everyone I looked at has bad reviews or was the same couldn't find them in-store. I actually ordered from Amazon in the end and they are the best!!! Super soft stretchy has buttons to adjust to bump not see through and will be ordering more pairs
Its been frustrating me too. Three trips to the shop to be told its all online. Its ridiculous
I'm the same! It's so annoying! There is always pregnant people! It's not like it's a seasonal need. I have ended up ordering some stuff online from places like shein which are nice but I find the trousers too short and end up sending them back. Have you tried h&m? The one by me had a small supply of maternity clothes ... X
