I saw some advice that suggested two table spoons of 3 different foods per meal, so 6 table spoons in total as a bit of a visual guide and that’s currently what I go by. I’m still working on the principle that the eating process and the trying of food is what is most important vs the quantity. I just also try to offer nutrient rich foods that have a decent amount of good fats in eg dairy, protein alongside fruit and veggies
I give my baby 3 meals a day. Breakfast lunch and dinner and snack in between. I have a baby plate that splits into 3. (Two small sections and one big section) so I always fill the biggest section with his main food and the other two sections with some add ons. For example breakfast. One section has yogurt one has fruit and the big one has toast. Same goes for lunch and dinner. I try to offer different add ons to every meal. He never eats everything a lot of it ends up on the floor. But this way he has a variety of food on his plate and can pick what he wants to eat. And when it comes to milk he usually drinks 3 times a day. Depending on the day but I breastfeed so it’s on demand
Ah that sounds about right with my little one too. I try giving a few bits for each meal so she gets a varied diet. Ahh my LO drinks around 20oz a day x
Hey mama For this age it's 3 meals a day and between 20-24oz of milk so sounds like you're spot on 😁 xx
At 9 months mine had 3 meals a day.. I offered a fair amount of food so he could just stop when he was done rather than not have enough.. and at that age he was having 2 bottles but most babies are normally still on 3/4 I think at this age x
