After Miscarriage

First time I've had a miscarriage. Do you know how long we bleed for after a miscarriage? Google says you can get pregnant 2 weeks after a miscarriage...like? Were you still bleeding when you had sex again?... And what's it like experiencing a pregnancy after a miscarriage?

My OB had me do blood tests every 48 hours until my HCG was at 0. I had stopped bleeding by the time I got to that point. Length of bleeding and when you ovulate again is very different depending on the person and how many weeks you were. The 2 weeks is usually like 2 weeks from once you’re HCG levels are considered no longer pregnant, but even that varies based on when you usually ovulate in your cycle.

Wow thank you for sharing this information. Very helpful.😊 @Ali

No problem! I wish you the best in your journey. I couldn’t answer about the last one as I took a break from TTC after my miscarriage for testing, then had random other issues. But I did eventually get pregnant and am now 35 weeks! Hoping you get your rainbow baby too 🤞🏻💕

That's awesome and congrats on your pregnancy! All the best for your pregnancy and take good care of yourself.❤️

Had a chemical miscarriage. Bled for a week then random 3 days of spotting. Had sex 3 weeks after and got pregnant. Then had an ectopic pregnancy. Had a D&C and laparoscopy to take out my right tube. Can’t try again for a few months.

I’d wait for a few months to let your body get back to normal

I had my first miscarriage last month and the bleeding lasted about 5 days. I waited until I got a negative test before trying again this month.

Wow @Carly you have been through a lot. Take care and hope for the best for your future pregnancy planning.❤️

@Amy good to hear bleeding lasted 5 days and not weeks. Hope the same happens with my bleeding lol. My miscarriage was on Saturday 29th March. Had chosen medical management to empty the uterus. Instead of surgery option.
