My daughter was first diagnosed with ADHD, and then autism and recently anxiety disorder. She takes medicine for her ADHD and has an IEP for her autism. If you are in the US, you should be able to get at least a 504 plan at school. We had one til the autism diagnosis then changed it to the IEP. Hopefully, that will help a little.
