We do 240ml formula to 2 rounded scoops of carobel x
@Leni I’m really not sure if there’s some kind of allergy going on, I just feel hopeless sometimes I think she’s better sometimes I think she’s worse it’s so hard! I can’t get her too poo unless it’s with the help of the windpasser tube things it’s so horrible!
@Leni I don’t even give her a full scoop of carobel she only drinks 4oz bottles which is just under 120mls but I think it’s really giving her problems with her digestive system and wind. I think maybe back to the GP I go… 🥲
I feel for you my love. I totally got to this point as well. I was calling the drs in tears like every week. What ended up working for us was a combination of omeprazole, carobel and goat formula. Xx
We deffo had the wind problem when we first went onto carobel and I remember sticking it out a bit because the wind was more bearable than his awful reflux but maybe that was just him x
I feel for you both! My LO has wind on carobel, he was on it before but with the CMPA the explosive nappies probably masked it. Does your LO have symptoms of a milk allergy? Mucusy, sticky, green nappies was an indicator of CMPA in my babe before he was diagnosed xx
Her poop seems very formed for her age, but I'm not expert!! 🤣 did you show it to the gp? I'd definitely recommend taking photos/ videos of everything to show the gp to evidence your concerns xx
@Beth yes she used to have farts and have poop like that! She has all those symptoms just not the rashes or eczema. She’s always coughing like she’s choking, sneezes all the time, always wriggling her legs and just not comfy, just feel like after a feed she never is happy for longer than half an hour it’s horrible xx
@Beth it’s really sticky like clay when it comes out it’s terrible xx
Sometimes it can be a delayed onset of symptoms. Like my boy only had the reflux initially. Then bad smelly wind like a fully grown man, then rashes etc. it took until he was 3 months old for the rest of the symptoms to show up. My friends it took 8 months! As I say take pics of nappies or symptoms of her struggling so you can advocate for her, mention you think it may be her milk (if you do). Unfortunately it was a long tricky road for us, despite knowing he very likely had it, they dismissed us many times and ended up in a&e to put our foot down and to be listened to. Everything crossed for you and your little one xxx
What milk are you on? Or is LO breastfeeding? X
@Gem on cow and gate formula with carobel. I’ve tried comfort milk she refused it x
@Meg could it be a milk allergy? Both mine have had it x
@Gem I’m just really not sure doctors never been interested in changing milk, she’s got laryngomalacia and reflux as diagnosed by hospital admissions. Carobel is constipating her and I’m sure the wind is coming from there, I think I’ll reduce the amount of carobel and see how she gets on. I guess it’s all trial and error xx

@Meg how frustrating!!! Keep going
I remember having this with ours when we moved him on to carobel and we just played around with the dose a bit until we got to the point of a happy medium. We also put him on goat formula and that seemed to help too. X
