Following.... Now metanium has gone I'm also looking for a good alternative for when it gets bad.

I've found bepanthen to work well

@Laura Sudosalve is meant to be a good alternative.

@Bethan I didn't know that was a thing, I'll have a little look around and give it a try, thank you!

@Laura I think people have recommended the Wileda stuff too but I find Sudocrem excellent on my baby. We use it as a thin barrier then put a decent amount on as soon as she looks even slightly sore. Always clear within 24hrs.

We like bepanthen. Sudocrem always seemed to sting my son

@Bethan that's what I found with metanium. Amazing, thank you for the suggestion!

@Laura matanium is gone? I used it with my first and it was a life saver, can’t believe it’s gone!

@Julia I know 😭 it was the best for when my LG got really sore, they discontinued it, not sure why as it really was a league above others.

Metanium was my ride or die for when Cruz was a baby gutted that it’s discontinued 😩

I think I’m quite possibly the only person on the planet who wasn’t a fan of Metanium! I used Wileda cream and it was brilliant for my little girl who used to get nappy rash so bad she looked like she’d been scolded! With my son I brought a massive tub of sudocrem before he was born and it never got opened he never had nappy rash once! I work in childcare and have done for 21 years and the most popular with parents seem to be child’s farm, bepanthen, or sudocrem xx

@Lucy not on your own there. I never liked it. I worked in a children's nursery and had parents who used it and I always thought it was far too harsh on their skin. We had families where it was actually making it worse but they'd insist on it so we had to use it. Always sworn by good old Sudocrem myself 👍🏻
