Rough pregnancy
Hi! I’m seeing a lot of women having rough pregnancies like me and I was wondering if there’s a correlation between a rough pregnancy and being on birth control before conception. With my first I was never on birth control and my pregnancy was mostly easy.

I also have a friend that is pregnant too that was on birth control prior to pregnancy and she’s told me her pregnancy has been very easy
Mine has been the opposite. I was on BC for years up until 2 months before we conceived my first, and had a super easy pregnancy (aside from acid reflux for the 3rd trimester). This time around, I was only on BC for a few months after I had my first, went off it because I kept forgetting the pill/ had weird periods. I was off of it for over a year before conceiving our second, this pregnancy has been rough.

I wouldn’t say mine is rough or easy, but it hasn’t been that bad. Some days are worse than others but more good days than bad days. I did not take birth control before getting pregnant.
