Is there anyone that can clarifies some things for me? I am in receipt of UC since a few months and looking to have my daughter into nursery. I’ve been told I’ve got a certain amount of hours but how does that work? How much will I need to pay? Nursery is telling me I need to speak with council but council tells me I just need to go with my certificate to the nursery. Anyone can help me?
If your 15 hours funded then you will just pay nursery fees which is usually admin fees lunch etc which the nursery will tell you. But usually if your on uc and working you can receive help with upto 85% of childcare fees which they pay a month in arrears once you submit what they ask for at the end of the month
