Health related query

Hi mamas, How often do kids get infections? My 3 year old goes to nursery for 5 days and he was sick over Christmas time, viral and then bacterial infection. Then again in mid Feb he had viral fever. Now again he is down with fever since last night. He is fine in himself but just wondering is it normal to catch infection so often?
