Refusing fruits & veggies

My son will be 2 in July, and he has always been a GREAT eater. The only thing up until now he hasn’t really liked is beans. He’s always eaten all his fruits and veggies without complaint, and veggies are often the first thing on his plate he’ll eat. Within the last couple weeks, fruits and veggies apparently disgust him 😅 he’s refusing to even try them and will throw them off his plate. I know it’s normal for them to develop some pickiness but this seems sudden and extreme. Does anyone have any experience with this? I was really hopeful that I wouldn’t have a picky toddler lol.

my son has definitely been more picky lately, luckily he’ll still eat his fruits and veggies but i’ve been having to let him pick what he wants or else it just gets thrown😭 he used to eat anything and everything

Same

Yeah my daughter is the same & nearly 2 also. She enjoys berries & bananas but veg is a NO. The only way I can work around it is by really hiding veg into her food. I made mac & cheese for her today & squashed well done broccoli into it & she ate the whole thing! I have been advised to just keep introducing new veg to her like normal & letting her get used to it… hopefully mealtime will get easier, because I worry about it probably more than I should.
