Preschool or stay at nursery?

My little girl currently goes to a childminder, but as we are moving house soon we are going to keep her where she is until September. We went to see a nursery setting where they have a nursery for toddlers or they can start in the preschool section. Would it be too early for her to start preschool in September? The place is near where we want her to start school so we wanted her to go there so she can make friends with kids who would also go there when they hit primary school age. I still feel like she's too young but also don't want her to miss out. She loves it where she is at childminders but it will be out of the way of our work route.
