How much discretionary housing top ups people really get.
I'm looking at private renting as in temporary accommodation but I can't afford the extra 300pcm on the private rent. And I'm apparently not eligible for kent home choice, due to joint ownership in a house I can't live in due to fleeing domestic abuse.

I dont know of this helps, I moved area last year and my rent is 1,800 and for the past year I was getting an extra £750 , to help tide me over....The idea was to either move or find a job etc - either which i haven't been successful! Now the DHP has stopped and I miss it lol 😆 It did take a couple months to initially come through thou! X I hope that helps x
