I feel your pain. My toddler is the same. If it isn't chicken nuggets, fish sticks, mini muffins, or fruit pouches, she doesn't want it. 😒
I’m SO glad I’m not the only one! Tonight I made my son Mac n cheese with hidden veggies (he’s had it before and eaten it), he took one mouthful , spat it out and has since eaten a bowl of spaghetti hoops and half a yogurt 🤦♀️ He is unbelievably fussy and barely on the 25th percentile. I worry about it all the time! He isn’t interested in food and I basically have to force feed him. What do we do????
Exactly! What do we do?! I guess the doctor can refer if there’s a weight issue but I imagine when they are older they will be better eaters x
My toddler is very fussy and always has. He has his usual Weetabix in the morning and throughout the day yogurts/crisps and some toast. For dinner I can't get him to eat anything other than pizza. X
My toddler is exactly the same. Honestly, I do not know what is happening
I’m in the same boat!! I’m really stuck with it. There’s hardly anything he’ll eat for dinner and even those things he will often only eat if there’s miss Rachel or something playing in the background 😩 and I don’t particularly want to get into that bad habit either. He has porridge every morning, toast every lunchtime and pasta (if he will eat it) for almost every dinner and won’t try anything new
@Rosanna my son has been 25th his entire life. 94-98th for height though. I’m never worried. It’s not quantity as it is quality at this point. Count what they eat in a week versus a day Multivitamins help too to compensate on the less eating days
My son is the same, he’s gotten a little bit better the last month with at least TRYING different foods when before he wouldn’t even attempt it. We started all sitting to eat dinner together and will have what we have so can see us eating it, when he pushes it away and says ‘finished, don’t want it’ then we say ‘okay get down then’ and he will go without and gets no yogurt for pudding, he will always ask for yogurt but we say ‘eat more dinner then or no yogurt’ and he will sometimes have some more but we’re trying to get in to habit of not making special dinners we know he will just eat and will go without if he doesn’t eat it and that has helped, he’s fine weight wise and eats fine throughout the day with the childminder and us but have struggled with dinner type foods at home. We’re just persevering with it and he is getting better at least trying it when he sees us eating the same thing.
Mine is so fussy! Can’t get anything really in him!!
