I’d honestly say 36 or 37 weeks . I gave birth at 37+2 and defo needed the time off work to prepare
Week 39 is intense! Originally I was going to work till week 38, now I’m working till week 34 cos I have some annual leave to use up, thank god cos I don’t think I could’ve worked much longer! 😂
My first pregnancy (2023) I aimed for 39, but moved it to 38 at the last minute, but then didn’t need to 🤣🤦🏻♀️ this time will be 38, only cos I told work that I’d go til the end of May 🤷🏻♀️🤣
I’m off from 37 but my mat leave starts 2 days before I’m due. (What better way to take my remaining holidays) x
I’m getting off at 35 weeks. The drive to my work place is over an hour each way and does become tiring
I'm going off at 39 weeks but have a feeling I'll be induced at 38 weeks 🤦🏽♀️
I’m officially starting from due date but I am using 4 weeks of holiday prior to this so no work from 36 weeks
For my first I wanted to work for as long as possible, I thought I could make it to 39/40 weeks but adjusted it to 38 weeks as I was struggling with pain. I’m so glad I did, that extra downtime before baby arrived was wonderful. This time around I booked my mat leave for 38 weeks but have taken 2 weeks annual leave just before so I’m actually off from 36 weeks. I’m looking forward to it!
Officially my mat leave starts at 38 weeks, but I’m taking 4 weeks of annual leave prior so going off at 34 😊
Was supposed to be 38 weeks but now I’m being induced at weeks so had to move it forward to 37 so I at least get some time off 🤦🏼♀️
I finish at 35 weeks but taking it as annual leave. Not starting maternity until my due date
My leave technically starts when I'm 38+1 weeks.. however, as I'm a teacher my last working day will be at 36+5 due to May half term. Playing the system so I can have full pay for both the months of May and June 😅 With my first.. I was 39+2 weeks pregnant. Definitely want more time for me this time around.
32 weeks but I’ve took 4 weeks holidays before I start!
End of week 35 for me using annual leave for 2 weeks before mat leave kicks in

My official start date for maternity is at 36 weeks. X
My last day of work I’ll be 38+1, using annual leave for mat leave to start 39+4, but will now entirely depend on size of baby as been diagnosed with GD
I've only got 3 weeks left at work but that's because I have annual eave that needs using up. I would have gone until about 36/37 weeks depending on how my pregnancy is going as I have a physical job and I have PGP really bad x
I’m leaving at 36 weeks, my jobs very physical and struggling already (currently 32 weeks) x
Taking some annual leave from 38 weeks then starting maternity leave the week I am due. I work from home in a very flexible job so I am able to push it out that far. It also means I can keep all my accrued annual leave until the end of my mat leave so I am off for longer on full pay. If I was in an office every day I think I would be starting maternity leave from around 36 weeks. Couldn’t imagine having to commute at that stage 🫣
I’ll be 36+4 when I do my last day at work but 37 weeks exactly when my leave starts. With my first and second I planned to leave at 38 weeks, with my first I got signed off by a doctor at the hospital who told me off for overdoing it and I needed to stop NOW (I was 35 weeks) and with my second I took my remaining annual leave beforehand so actually finished at 34 weeks. I’m hopeful I’ll be fine until 37 this time but we’ll see x
I’m going off at 35 weeks, I have a 1.5hr commute when in the office and I’ll have baby at 38 weeks, I am taking that time as annual leave first before officially starting my mat leave x
I have pencilled myself in at work for 36weeks (I have a very physically demanding job on my feet)
