Possible Irish Twins

Does anyone here have Irish twins? And if you’re comfortable doing so, could you share your experiences? I’m not due to get my period until Friday but I’ve had 3 people (including my husband) tell me they think I’m pregnant. And honestly I think there might be a chance there. I’m currently 4 months & 1 week PP. My husband and I went out one night and had some drinks and ended up not using protection. 2 days after that I realized that was my estimated peak ovulation day. So now I’m big stressed because when I got pregnant with my son last year (coincidentally right around this time), I was so convinced I was about to get my period but took a test the day of just for shits and giggles and it ended up being positive. I’ve been way over emotional and crying over the randomest things as well as being tired as fuck. Which could very well be just because I am 4 months PP but those were also the only symptoms I had last time I got pregnant. So just to prepare myself for what the future might possibly hold, I wanna know everyone else’s experience on having Irish twins. Cause I’ve heard that the first year sucks ass but that’s about it🤷🏼‍♀️

I almost have Irish twins I got pregnant 9 months pp. At first it was difficult but once you find your own routine it gets easier and you only have to do a diaper stage once. I have heard people say “I wait until ones out of diapers” which if you have cloth diapers I get that… but with disposable it’s nothing to just change them two at a time. There are things that make it hard but once my children stopped the jealousy they’re best friends now and because they’re so close I feel like they have a life long bond. People think it’s crazy but it’s honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done! Not to say it doesn’t have its own challenges but parenting does anyways! Always feel free to reach out if you need to talk I’d be more than willing. Congratulations!

@Ana if you don’t mind me asking, was the second pregnancy harder on your body? I did a lil of my own google researching and saw that mentioned in some articles🫣

It was but only because my body wasn’t fully healed and I breastfed the entire pregnancy. My labor was however a very fast process I guess because my body was still trying to get out of baby mode so it kind of froze it there. I only pushed 3 times!

For reference on the 3 push thing I had a 6lb 14oz baby the second time and I’m 5’4 117lbs. So it went quickly for sure!

I have Irish twins. 10 months apart and for me it’s wonderful but stressful. They love each other so much and are so cute but mannn I got my hands full😂😂

Mine r 13 months apart so not irish twins but a few days off and i loved it! my youngest is 9. the first year didnt suck that's only true for working moms really since they have to work and take care of two kids in their free time im a SAHM and its fine we r ttc our third and will have three under three hopefully you'll be fine

i love every day!!!!

I am also 4monts PP and 4 weeks pregnant 🤣 I had a C-section so I know its going to be hardddd just wanted to let you know that you are not alone!!

I got pregnant 4 months postpartum, my daughter is 6m right now and i’m 13 weeks pregnant. Honestly it’s taken me weeks to come to terms with it. My body definitely is taking it harder this time. They are going to be 13 months apart so justttt past irish twins lol, but by about 2 weeks 😂

I have Irish twins. Both cesarean and They’re both the same age from September 30th to October 23rd every year. Right now they’re 6&7 but I get asked every single time we leave the house if they are twins
