Not really knew just sort of guessed. She started telling me when she was wet. So we started introducing the potty then. And now she is starting to pull her pants down while dry saying potty (I taught her the sign for it and I speak the word as I say it too), but then will sit for like a minute, then 3 min later she's pulling her pants down again saying it and she is wet. It's almost like she prefers to go in the diaper still. We've had some success with just asking her every hour if she has to go. I just don't think she's making the fully connection yet and that is perfectly fine still. We have the jist of it and I'm cool with that 🤷‍♀️

She started hiding more when having to go potty. I picked a 3 day weekend and in February and decided that was going to be the weekend. She will have accidents on occasion if she's too distracted but otherwise, mostly potty trained. She wears a pull up at night (still in crib). Once she transitions to a toddler bed, I'll work on the nighttime training. Just trying to keep her in the crib as long as possible.
