My husband just shipped off for army training and it’s 8 weeks until we reunite with him! My kids godmother gave the suggestion of doing new crafts each week and making a book for him to see what they did! Love the idea but looking for inspo as to what the kids can do/make each week ☺️
Not sure about a book, but what about a pie chart with 8 slices and then each day the kids decide on an object/treasure that represents the day and draw it/glue it/tape it to the slice of pie for the week? Each slice will have 7 objects. Then there are memories and a story for each day he was gone?
I suppose the book could be a picture book of the different events he missed out on in person.
Or even a scrapbook!
Love the idea of something tangible though!
