Tips for curly hair (long paragraph)

So my daughter is 7 months old and has 3b type hair. I have so far been washing her hair with baby curl defining shampoo and leave in conditioner. But her hair from the back as she lays gets frizzy. I don’t want to damage or ruin her hair but I feel she is too young for a hair bonnet. I have never dealt with curly hair it actually comes from my husband but he just uses gel😩 please, what should I do or am I doing what I should be doing ?

Definitely too young for a bonnet. Try silk sheets. When my daughter was a baby I carried a little spray bottle with water to refresh her hair after car rides.

I have somewhere between 3a and 3b hair. You can always text if you want to just talk personally at random times. But definitely don’t wash her hair often, at this age she doesn’t even need anything other than the shampoo and conditioner, get silk/satin sheets. Leave it alone as much as possible. The less the better. But use a detangler or water if you need to brush her hair out, and always start at the ends and go slowly working your way up or else you’ll just get stuck at the bottom with knots very often

I feel that struggle. My hair is so straight I have had hairdressers think I use a straightener. My daughter's hair is curly curly. I only wash her hair once a week, it is the healthiest that way. When needed I'll add conditioner during bath time, usually once more during the week, and I actually leave it in. I'll rinse it during bath time though. And it gets refreshed with my homemade leave in conditioner. Get a good spray bottle, 1 part conditioner 10 parts water (ish). I use that when I do her hair. Her hair is soft and very curly. I will usually add the container once more during the week, unless it is in braids. Great idea to use a spray bottle to refresh it after the car seat. Then you can just finger brush her hair to freshen it up.
