Nursery naps

Anyone else started doing a day nap in the nursery cot? I started this because one day a few weeks ago I popped him in his cot while I was putting his washing away and he fell asleep and slept so well in there that I’ve started to do one nap a day in his nursery with the monitor on. Is it too soon for this or have others started naps in separate room? I do have the video monitor with me (and pop in and out to physically check him). Honestly it’s nice to have time to get stuff done around the house without disrupting him but I saw someone on another app saying that babies should be day napping in same room as us until 6 months too and it got me worried 😟 Edit: I also have dogs and in part the nap in there means I don’t need to worry about the dogs waking him up or safety of being around him. Not that they aren’t very good with him but obviously when he is downstairs I need to make sure they aren’t alone with him where they could try and cuddle him or lick him etc.

I have my baby nap in his next to me crib in our room with the monitor in but if your baby is sleeping fine during the day in his nursery I don't see why that would make the slightest bit of difference, like you say you still check on him so you do what works for you x

Yes naps during the day and at night. Lots of things aren’t recommended but you have to do what you think is best and what you feel comfortable with

I would if we had a cot! We did with our first born around 3/4months so he could get use to sleeping it in before we transitioned him to it overnight at 7months. They’ll be sharing a room and we’ve not got round to buying a cot yet for it! X
