Sickness and diarrhoea

I feel clueless this is the first time my toddler has had any kind of bug I am giving her calpol every 6 hours making sure her water is always in close reach She is an amazing eater never refuses her food and refused her usual breakfast so I offered fruit and yogurt which she eaten but in the meantime has been sick she has also eaten half a slice of toast for lunch and that’s it She’s still her happy self playing and talking and running around But what do I do about food?☹️

Both my daughter (5) and son (2 in July) had this last week, my daughter sat-Wednesday and my son Tuesday - Sunday My son was the same as your girl he was still himself playing around which was tougher as he would just poo on the spot or be sick! but food wise I’d stick with dry foods but in smaller portions more often then bigger portions like meals if that makes sense! but if she’s not hungry then don’t force it ! plenty of water like you’ve said she’s having, just going to be a tough few days but I really hope she’s better soon!! Xx

@Abbi thank you so much! Glad your two are better now, what foods were you offering xx

Thankyou, me too it was a hell of a week! My daughter didn’t want much other than toast and cucumber, then some how bribed me to get McDonald on one of the last days she was ill as she really wanted the chicken nuggets and I thought well if it gets you to eat 🤣 My boy happily carried on eating everything But I just cut down the amount but was alot of like toast, sandwich , crackers , with fruit xx
