Or the cuprox toothbrushes people say are good for children with ASD.. the oranurse though is foamless too and lots of people with children with ASD say it’s the only thing their children can tolerate.. it’s been great for us! Ps if you ever need to vent or any more ideas always feel free to message me! Xxx
@Leah-Shannon thank you so much! I really appreciate it🥰 I will try these, just don’t know what to do because I know dentists will be judgey with me if I take him. I know for a fact he won’t sit in the chair for them to look at his mouth so I’m unsure on whether to just keep ontop of brushing. I’ve read even thought it’s bleeding to keep brushing that area xx
I would also go and see the dentist, I know it’s hard, but it’s best for them to get a look over them x
There are also specialist SEN dentists/dental clinics, may be worth discussing with your HV?
Have you tried the dr barman’s super brush? And oranurse toothpaste? The toothbrush brushes all the sides of their teeth in one go and the oranurse toothpaste is flavourless .. it’s the ONLY thing I’ve found that isn’t as traumatic for both of us… I feel your pain though as a mum of a LG on the asd pathway some days are rough.. we can only do what we can do though don’t forget that xxxx
