Routine bloods and history
Hi girls, anyone been contacted by their midwife to go into hospital on a weekend for routine bloods and medical history? I can't remember being called in for my first 2. I've been asked to go in next weekend when I'll be about 8 weeks.

From what my memory can recall you have your first lot of bloods taken in this initial appointment
Isn't this just your "booking" appointment that happens when you are 8 weeks? With my first pregnancy it was at the local GP but with my second pregnancy I had to go to the midwife section at the local hospital (our maternity building is separate from the hospital) so it sounds like it could be that? I know in our area our midwife's work between the hospital, GP, and children's centres when it comes to appointments.
