Any advice/ experience welcome 🆘

My son has been super tricky recently. Last week he was refusing food and we went days with barely eating anything. I could hear his stomach rumbling and his mood was terrible, crying, clingy and just really irritable. I was practically throwing food at him and praying he would eat. 🙏🏻 I initially thought he was sick or teething or there was reason but now I’m beginning to suspect it’s a bit controlled and I have a hunger striker on my hands 😅 We have made improvements but food is still so tricky. Not eating anywhere near enough but eating some. Breakfast seems to go down ok but lunch and dinner is mostly a miss. Takes so much effort and distraction to get him to eat. I’ve tried switching up his plates he uses so it’s interesting and I even got him a new table and chairs so he could eat outside for a change of scenery but my goodness I’m feeling a bit stressed with the lack of food. He must be losing weight. Any advice or experience is welcome. 😊

Don’t worry. My LO has never been a big eater. Refuses fruit and veg and hardly eats at lunch or dinner. He’s still putting weight on and having his vitamins so the doctors aren’t worried. They go through these stages and will eat when they want to

@Delilah thanks so much for replying and that is reassuring to know😊. Also are you giving the standard vitamin d or are you giving a more rounded multi vitamin?x

I use wellbaby multivitamin liquid 🙂

Hi my little boy (22m) has always been a great eater but the last few weeks he is just so uninterested in meals but would eat snacks all day if we let him. I think the novelty of using a spoon has worn off 😅 so I was trying to make meals he could just pick up but he gets bored and just wanders away. I think it’s quite common at this age but it is stressful! I’m fighting the urge to make another meal or I think he will just get wise to that🙈 We just offer a bit of toast or something before bed xx
