@Ashleigh omg same! exactly kiddie snacks, along with applesauce and french fries. he will also only eat the chicken flavor top ramen noodles but that’s it 😭😭😭 im losing it
My sons the same I asked the pediatrician and they said it’s just normal for toddler age. To try to continue and be encouraging I know as moms we worry. Gosh I have days where he goes “Namanums?” Even after eating so much and then there was one day he wanted to keep eating and literally projectile vomited everywhere. I felt defeated some days he’ll eat only a gogo squeeze and other days he needs a whole buffet. Right now his two favorite meals are french fries and bananas 😓 I just make sure to check his poop and diapers. I also measure how much whole milk he gets because he seems to love yogurt and dairy a lot so I try to make sure he doesn’t drink too much milk on the days he’ll only eat that. You’re definitely not doing anything wrong it’s just the toddler phase.
totally get it, my little one was super picky too at that age, like, just wanted snacks and milk all the time, but I found just keep offering different stuff and not stressing too much helped, they usually come around eventually! here's what the 'Heal App' says.... "It's completely normal for toddlers to be picky eaters, especially around their first birthday. Here are two key pieces of advice: 1. Model Eating: Since he shows interest in your food, try eating together and offering him small bites of what you're having. This can encourage him to explore new flavors and textures in a relaxed setting. 2. Offer Variety: Continue to provide a range of foods, but try to make them fun and engaging. You can use different shapes, colors, or even let him explore food with his hands, which can make mealtime more appealing. It's also important to remember that his appetite may fluctuate, and he might be more interested in snacks and milk right now.
This is my baby. She turned one yesterday & and is completely uninterested in eating real food. Literally only kiddie snacks and formula. She likes applesauce & French fries. But that’s as close to real food as we’ve gotten
