@Paloma Our sonographer couldn’t get babies weight for some reason so that’s a bit unknown, all their important things are fine they’re just small, they did the doppler test to assess blood flow through the tubes going to the baby. Did you have any other doppler tests? we have been put under consultant care and extra growth scans, and aspirin to help thin my blood to get some more blood flow to the baby!
That's interesting about the weight! Didn't they say why? How have they assessed the overall percentile? Hopefully, in your next scan, they will be able to tell, but it seems the baby is just small! I had the dopplers and everything normal. They just sent me for a growth scan after 3 weeks, and I assume they will measure and do dopplers again. My first baby came bang on the 50th percentile, so this is a bit unknown and unexpected. Fingers crossed, she is just small!
@Paloma she didn’t really say why they couldn’t get the weight and i was so in another world listening to everything trying to take it all in i didn’t really ask! so that’s will go on my list to ask the consultant in May / maybe even my midwife as i know she’s looked at my scans etc, yeah hopefully as she said they’ve formed perfectly! I’ve got my fingers crossed for you thag everything is good at your growth scans etc!🫶🏻
Sorry to hear that! My baby's ac is on the 4th percentile, and estimated weight is on the 11th, but dopplers were normal, so going for a rescan in 2 weeks. Have they done dopplers? What options have they given you?
