My past two I’ve ordered the sneakpeek testing kit. It was correct for my first and is 99% accurate when done at 6weeks +, have to verify results for our second. Congratulations to you and hubs, very exciting!
Same exact scenario, but this pregnancy was not planned like our last one was before we had several losses. I think you may be the mom that posted about Lovenox, maybe? Sorry if not, haha. Only my husband knows also. I am just distracting myself with work, my kiddos, and trying to be active with them when I'm not working. Also, 11 weeks, and I have my NIPT tomorrow.🤞 Appointments are always so nerve-wracking.
Okay I’m going absolutely bonkers too. We got our results back last week and my closest friends know (they’re helping with the reveal) and it’s driving me CRAZY that they know and I don’t. I regret my decisions to tell them so early lol
@Nadia unfortunately my ob office is booked out, iv got the first available appointment. I did the nipt test with my first boy and it came back inconclusive and just caused anxiety so we decided against it this time anyways.
@Cristal yes im on lovenox! Congrats to you! We decided against the NIPT this time because of past experiences. Iv barely felt like leaving the house this time around so far. Just feel so alone with my thoughts. Thanks for the advice!
@Macy this was me with my first! Lol we decided this time we were going to be the first to know and tell others in a way we see fit 🥰
@Schannon i just dont know if i trust them with how often they are wrong tho! Id rather wait then get one result when its really another. Lol
@Natascha definitely learned my lesson🤣🤣🤣 will be doing it that way next time too
We're also not announcing until later after tragic loss after miscarriage. At this point, anything can happen, so I'm just calmly mission ready trying to pump myself with as much nutrition as I can tolerate and trying to stay as healthily a vessel as I can. We'll be excited to find out the sex once the NIPT is done, but it's definitely an afterthought.
@Nadia yes I just did the same yesterday results should be here in a week 🥰I waited longer with my first so I’m excited.
@Natascha Congrats to you also! I totally understand. I'm praying I don't get more anxiety with these results. Luckily, my past ones were good, but Lovenox can throw the results off with the fetal fraction. I'm not sure if you were on it with your last child or if anyone told you that. I'm just hoping I don't have to retake it ( I did not skip my dose), and all comes back well. My inbox is always open if you need someone to talk to.
@Cristal i was not on lovenox with my first, in fact i had no problems with my first so we were a little shocked to find out i have a clotting gene.
@Natascha Same. Perfect first pregnancy, followed by 3 losses ( one was a 2nd trimester loss and 2 were first). We had pretty much given up since all tests came back normal. Then, I got pregnant with my daughter and found a clotting disorder in the very beginning/started the Lovenox with her. It's crazy how things work. I hope everything turns out amazing for you!
@Cristal wow thats so crazy! Our stories are very similar. How far along are you rn?

@Natascha 12 weeks
@Cristal I’m 12 tomorrow, so is this your third child?
@Natascha Awesome! Yes, well, 3rd with a bonus fourth, lol. Definitely wasn't expecting twins. We were done after we were finally able to get our 2nd...or so we thought. God had other plans.
@Cristal omg! Twins! That’s crazy! May i ask. With your last lovenox pregnancy, did you have any bleeding issues at delivery? Did they push for a c-section? Blood transfusions? Thanks
@Natascha Of course. Always feel free to inbox me any questions. I had an induction at 38+4 for gestational hypertension. I was supposed to have one the next week, anyway. Resumed Lovenox 12 hours after delivery. I had taken the prior dose 12 hours before induction, and everything went very smooth- delivered vaginally with no issues. They never pushed for c-section. Our original plan was to induce at 39 weeks. No bleeding issues at all. I probably even bled less than with my first.
@Cristal thank you so much! That’s something iv been very nervous about and haven’t really got a straight answer from anyone 🩷
I was able to complete a genetic screening blood test at 10 weeks and was able to find out the sex at 11 weeks. Is this a possibility for you? Love reading how excited you are to share your amazing news with those around you!! 🥳👏🏽🎉 you got this mama!
