Baby not settling

My baby is 3 weeks old, and will not relax after feed etc, she has to be moved all the time, any suggestions what i can do, ive bought a rockit machine but doesnt seem to soothe her! She’s colicy and cries a lot if not moved, hard going when i have a 2 year old and needing things done ( even if im eating food i have to shake her in the pram)

How is she in a baby sling or carrier? Means you have your hands free at least if wearing her soothes her!

Sometimes she will, but most times not even fussed and cries, i know things will get better but its menatally draining and being a single mum makes it harder 😵

Our doc recommended Gripe Water daily for gas/colic and to use Ovol Drops when really bad. It’s sold over the counter and it helped a bit for weeks 1-4. It go better as we moved past the first month where baby could self soothe or a paci helped

Very normal. Newborns need to be held all the time. That’s just how it goes. Get help. Find help. Family.

Is she breastfed or formula fed? If formula fed have you tried switching her milk to the comfort or anti colic version of whatever her milk is? With my first it immediately made a difference and we kept him on Comfort Cow & Gate until he was about 6 months then switched back to the normal version and he was fine. We used comfort immediately with my second and again switched to normal at 6 months and had no problems with him. In fact our second has been a much better sleeper from the beginning compared to our first.
