If I pay £660 a month in childcare fees
to a nursery. How much will I get back from Universal Credit if they pay up to 85% of it?

I think it depends on how many hours you pay for per week. Because it’s “up to 85%” I think the amount you will get funded will depend on the chargeable hours you use per week. I’m just thinking that way because we get the tax free childcare and that’s up to 2K off per year. We get the full amount because our monthly fee is £1650 but if we were only using the nursery part time then we wouldn’t be paying enough in to get the full 20% off per quarter x
It varies every month depending on how many sessions are in your assessment period. And childcare is added to your total so if your wages vary your total UC incl childcare will vary too x
