Glucose test

Hi!! I am trying to advocate for myself to have my lab give me another option for the glucose drink or let me use the fresh test. Did anyone have luck on that? If you are from the Carmel NY area and did it - which lab did you go to?

I used the fresh test for my 1hr and 3hr test. It’s was really good I was tested at my doctor’s office. Passed the 3hr test

Do you guys remember how long to fast for before the glucose test?

My doctor gave me welches grape juice. All I had to do was ask what my options are

I just measured my sugar levels with a classic diabetes pin for 1 week and noted the results. Before food it should be below 96 and 1 hr after food below 140. No sugar / glucose test needed at all!

@Makaila the glucose test they give has too many ingredients and red dye which we all know is not good for us. The fresh test is a cleaner version. I called my doctor they will provide my lab center with a dye free version of a drink.
