2nd baby - what are you replacing?

I’m 36 weeks with my second pregnancy and I’ve just started getting out everything from my first. I’ve recently started looking online and it seems a lot of people are replacing silicone pump parts and bottle teats ect. And now I’m wondering if I need to do that!?

Nothing 🤣 I’ve kept and everything everything. I will buy new bottles if I can’t breastfeed

Pump parts need to be replaced pretty frequently anyway. Bottle nipples should be replaced since they can degrade over time and pieces can break off and it can become a choking hazard. Pacifiers would be the same.

I haven't replaced the teats, most of them weren't used and the ones that were used I've just checked to make sure they weren't chewed apart or have anything coming apart. I have replaced the dummies and I got a new double pram. Got a new steriliser just to make our jobs easier as it was an upgrade from our last one. Other than that reusing most of our daughters stuff for this baby that is coming on Friday x

I have replaced the mattress and sheets in the next to me (couldn’t actually find the old sheets!), keeping bottles but I’ll replace teats if needed (hoping to breastfeed), and have replaced the pump. To be honest Amazon prime will probably be my go to again, ordering bits at 3am to arrive in the day when baby is here 🙈

I haven’t replaced anything currently, although I’ve had my pram professionally cleaned and serviced as it was looking grim! I didn’t bottle feed my first, and barely used the breast pump, so will only replace parts on that if I end up using it more/find I need to.
