I managed to lose quite a bit after my little one was born just from the sheer amount of running around and walking around in circles trying to get him to sleep but I've definitely put it all back on. I've just booked on to go back to my burlesque class and me and hubby are going to take it in turns once a week each going to the gym while the other is on baby duty. I've also tried in the food shop this week not to buy any junk food at all. Was going well until my hubby brought home chocolate eclairs at lunch
@CoadieHow often do you play netball?
Cutting out snacks has been the big one for me! I stick to three meals a day and maybe a piece of fruit if I'm super hungry in between. I'm trying to get the steps in too but some days it's not possible due to plans or contact naps. Be kind to yourself though, 3.5 months is still such a short time after having spent 9 months growing a whole human! 💕 Xx
my little girl was 4 months yesterday and even though i was thin as soon as my bump went, I still have a belly & it looks like i am still pregnant sometimes, im so active, i drink water but my body grew a child for such a long time, im being kind to myself, i couldn’t care less right now, i eat what I want when i want, still stay active and i’m learning to be okay with it🙌🏻❤️😌
2-3 times a week I play! I think it’s important to have something outside of being a mum!! My partner runs, I play netball, it gives us the time we need away from the kids and work as well as being great exercise xx
@Remee same here, I still have my little pouch, I wouldn’t say I look pregnant but it’s definitely there even though I’m only 1kg more now than I was before getting pregnant xx
I’m finding that breastfeeding makes me ravenous 🤯
No tips but I'm the same. 10kg up from pre baby weight and not managed to lose any of it yet even though I walk every day and started back at the gym. Also breastfeeding. I was super active before, did a marathon at 4 weeks pregnant. It's so difficult!
Also still around 8kg up from pre pregnancy weight. It took me around 18 months to get back to pre pregnancy weight with my first. My body definitely holds onto extra weight whilst I’m breastfeeding. Not everyone will lose the weight due to nursing. Being extra hungry is expected. You shouldn’t try to reduce your calories as that can definitely affect your milk supply. Maybe try swapping out your snacks for something like fruit etc. easier said than done though 😅
I went back to netball 3 weeks after giving birth, I also walk my 4 year old too and from school everyday. I only put 7kg on during pregnancy though. I’d keep trying the walking and build it up slowly. I’ve also cut out full fat fizzy drinks as that’s my downfall xx
