Pumping and refrigerating pump parts!

I hate pumping! The washing and sterilizing puts me off so much but my milk supply has recently tanked šŸ„² so I need to. Is putting your pump parts in the fridge okay? NHS advises against it šŸ™ƒ I was wondering how many of yaā€™ll put your pump parts in the fridge between pumps? If you do this, can you please advise how to go about it? I was thinking zip lock bagging it till next use and then wash end of day?

I put it in the fridge when Iā€™m done pumping multiple times a day and just sterilize at night when I wash/sterilize all my bottles! My lactation consultant said this is fine to do :) itā€™s made life so much easier and my daughter is 6 months and healthy

They can either go in the fridge or be washed with soapy water between uses. They must be sterilised once every 24 hours of being used. Tbh I put the collection bottle/ cup parts in the fridge and wash the flange/ breast plate just because personally I donā€™t like it being quite so cold on my skin
