@Shay in the same boat here, I tried letting him go commando but he kept pooping in his underwear and needed a bath each time it was just too messy, how did you overcome that?
@Brisa i tried to figure out what time he typically pooped everyday. Then a little before that I would tell him he needed to sit on the potty. We would either read a book or talk. My husband made him laugh by calling it a poop snake, so now I tell him he has to sit and at least try to make a poop snake. He did a 3 day stent of holding his poop in and i had to make it a daily thing of him at least trying to poop. He has to show me he tried pushing lol most of the time he will make a poop. It was very frustrating though...the poop in the pants🫠🫠🫠 but we now are doing much better
I have a stubborn daughter who refuses to sit on potty, don’t know how to convince her, even stickers didn’t work
Its normal at first. Try to make it carefree. We started with small potty and then got a little attachment with stairs for the big potty. I also gained a lot of traction after doing no pull-ups. It was a lot of messes but he learned way faster. We are down to pull-ups only at night and have not moved to the underwear stage. He just goes commando. We didn't do treats/reward chart. I would just try to make it a fun thing and firmly say that's it time to sit on the potty
