@Hayley thank you so much for your reply. I’ll make a doctor’s appointment today and see if they can offer me anything. Tbh I’ve been trying to tough it out thinking it would be over soon, but I think medication is a good idea as you said x
I feel the same, also work as a nurse and I had such bad palpitations I ended up in A&E and my thyroid was all over the place. Waiting on my doctor to call me today with some advice from a specialist. Meant to be going to turkey tomorrow and I’m dreading it, can barely pack. I got signed off work.
I’m just over 14 weeks and still feel horrendous. I’m on 2 anti sickness tablets now which have definitely helped but I still feel crap. I have a horrible taste in my mouth constantly and seem to feel more nauseous as the day goes on! Also work full time and have a toddler so this time round it’s so much harder!
So glad to know it’s not just me and there’s lots of people struggling. Honestly just through I was being dramatic, but I am finding it all so so hard. We’re in this together ladies 🙌
Are you on medication? I was so unwell with my first, actually was at my worst at 20 weeks 😞 this time has been the same but had to go on the medication sooner this time as exactly the same couldn't function with a toddler and work. The medication has helped, I can still be sick but I can at least function and eat a more varied diet. I don't want to be that person that says a week you'll miraculously be ok by, as for some people that just isn't the case, but I would say talk to a doctor. I find if I don't address the sickness all the other problems happen, acid reflux ect as our stomachs just can't cope. Really hope you feel better soon, it is so miserable when not feeling well with it! Be kind to yourself you're doing amazing! 💕
