Really helped my little one! He also had cows milk allergy so on prescription formula from about 5 weeks. I'd say the gaviscon helped almost straight away for us

@Clare I have said to my partner I feel like it’s a milk allergy but the doctors seem so reluctant to look into allergies!!

Helped my LO with a noticeable difference from his very first dose. Ebf and so we mixed with sterile water 😊

@AimeĂš Green🍒đŸȘ© my health visitor really helped and basically sent a message direct to the doctors so they had no choice than to try the formular! I think with my little one the main symptoms was basically colic on and off all day, not just after 5 o'clock or whatever they say. I say trust your gut and if no improvement with the gav stand your ground and ask to try some formular 😃 the doctors don't even really do anything other than prescribe it to try for 4 weeks and usually you should see a difference within a couple of days (what i was told) we noticed after 2 days 🙂) one of the biggest symptoms for ours was like hysterical when he was having a bottle at times like instantly

@Clare Theo is all day everyday - grunts when feeding and after feeding, constantly got his legs to his tummy, crying and screaming and nothing settles him, sometimes he can be sick after feeds, it’s absolutely awful to see and it’s so upsetting that the GP doesn’t want to help them!!

My little girls both was the exact same! Keep pushing for a change in milk both of mine had a milk allergy with exact same symptoms above! But to help reflux, we use to raise one side of the next to me so she was at a decline but still laid fully flat! And as awkward as it was especially at night I would try and keep her sat up for as long as possible so the milk would settle, we was going through it for months the first time this time I demanded a change in milk because it was actually sooo draining! Xxx

@AimeĂš Green🍒đŸȘ© sounds exactly like my little one. Health visitor said its probably an intolerance but the formular can really help and it did! I would try get a home health visitor appointment if you feel gp not helpful. Tell them you're finding it hard to bond with babe when there's no respite to his crying but also how he's uncomfortable đŸ©·
