I packed and repacked the babies bag, still didn't get it right until I was in early labour 🤣
Prep as many main meals and quick easy snacks as you can, i cooked 68kg for my partner and I. It was truly i life saver. Prepare for labour, birth and after e g read, stretch repack bag with partner. Spend time doing things you enjoy doing by yourself, even if it's a morning coffee in the sun. Clean the house from top to bottom 👌
As a mother of an 18 month old when I started my maternity leave I enjoyed doing absolutely nothing knowing that lift was about to get hectic! Also did a big cook up of meals and snacks and just tried to focus on myself when I could.
Sleep!!!!!!!
I enjoyed swimming most days as it was the only comfortable exercise (yoga sounds good too!) catch up with lots of people and do things you won’t be able to do for a while (I think I went to the movies 3 times in the week before my Bub was born). Lots of relaxing, Netflix, sleeping. Meal prep is a great idea
I did a big cook fest, heaps of home cooked meals that I then dished up into containers and froze, we had so much frozen food we’ve only just finished what I made and I’m 6 weeks post partum! I also baked muffins/cookies/bread and froze those 😂
