Sick baby

Mummas, my baby girl is sick! She is 10 months old, has a really chesty cough, isn’t sleeping properly (waking up to cough to try bring something up) and a temp of 37 degrees! She also had been developing like blister/sores on her right leg! I took her to doctor this afternoon and got prescribed antibiotics for her but she seems to be worse tonight! Tips please

Have the sores/blisters spread since you noticed them?

yes, like crazy! They started as mozzie bites that had turned into a blister/sore. I have been putting antiseptic gel on them (from the chemist) but they seem to be spreading. At first, I thought she was having a reaction to new nappies but then i noticed it was a mozzie bite that turned blister

Sounds like she may have hand foot and mouth x the other symptoms are symptoms of the disease as well x

Are they on her face and feet ? X

they are just below her hip (nappy line), on her hip and above her hip (nappy line)

You can try sliced onion on each foot and place socks on- her coughing will stop and the onion will draw the infection out. I know it sounds weird- but it’s worked for centuries. Great for an ear ache too.

@Sasha honestly sounds like it could be a few things but I haven't seen them for sure, my friends baby had what sounds similar to yours but idk I'd take her to the hospital you can never Be to cautious x

I’m monitoring her temp- she’s currently at 37.7! Do you know if we take babies at 38 or 39 to hospital. I tried googling and it’s giving me mixed answers x
